Seasons is a fun and instructive picture book that introduces them to First Nations seasonal calendars. Have you ever looked forward to summer's arrival, only to be let down when it turns out to be chilly and wet? The seasons don't change with the calendar for First Nations People. As an alternative, we can identify the beginning of a new season by observing changes in the water, plants, animals, weather, and stars.
Aunty Munya is an Elder from the Kimberley region of Western Australia. Like many Aboriginal people, she has learned to work and live in two worlds.
