This environmentally friendly outdoor mat is made from recycled plastic. Featuring the artwork Yarning and Learning Circle by Billyara, this Aboriginal mat measures 180cm x 180cm.
The Aboriginal mat is fade resistant and can be easily hosed for cleaning. As it is made from recycled plastic, this floor mat is an environmentally friendly and sustainable choice.
The artwork features pathways that lead in to the yarning circle. The yarning circle is where people come together to sit and share their stories and knowledge and to learn from others. The dots in the inner circles represent the land and our mother earth. We pay our respects to the people, both past and present of each land which we meet on.
This mat may slip on hard flooring without a non slip mat underneath. We recommend using a non slip mat under these floor mats when used on hard surfaces.
Billyara is a respected artist from the Wiradjuri tribe. The name Billyara comes from the artist's totem, an eagle, which stems from his connection with the land. He has been painting Aboriginal art for 23 years and teaches these traditions to younger generations. His artwork is a mix of traditional and contemporary Aboriginal art with a Western influence. He has exhibited extensively, and has sold his paintings internationally.
Billyara hopes to introduce contemporary Aboriginal art to young children in fun and engaging ways.

Repeated exposure to direct sunlight may result in some colour fading. We recommend to use this items in shade or filtered light and for best results do not leave in direct sunlight for long periods of time.
