A beautiful, printed floor mat featuring the artwork "My Turtle Dreaming" by Darug artist Leanne Watson. This Aboriginal mat measures 200cm x 150cm and features a polyester surface and a non-slip rubber backing. This kit also includes set of 11 turtle stepping stones from the same artwork "My Turtle Dreaming".
Each turtle matches the floor mat and can be used to promote positional language, matching and sorting. Features a rubber non-slip backing. Largest measures 37 x 41cm. The other Turtle Dreaming stepping stones measure 14cm x 15cm, 35cm x 34cm and 22cm x 23cm.

Muru Mittigar means 'Pathway to Friends' in the Darug language (the Traditional Custodians of the area). Muru Mittigar provide a wide range of services to support local Darug people and the wider Aboriginal community.
Our range of global and multicultural resources help to support children;s learning about their communities, as well as the world in general. These resources aid in the promotion of understanding and acceptance of different cultures, beliefs, languages, families, appearances and lifestyles. As children gain an understanding of their community, they also gain an understanding of themselves. This develops confidence and a sense of identity. Incorporating multicultural resources into play is a great way to introduce these concepts in fun and unobtrusive ways.
