The Sensory Cushion Seats Set help children to sit comfortably on any chair. The Air Cushion (BRU4302) is a terrific aid to help children sit still and feel calm. The Seat Wedge (BRU010) allows children to sit upright, as it encouraging the spines natural S-curve, which is often flattened out when seated on normal chairs, and can also be used as a back support. Set includes 2 of each.
Air Cushion (BRU4302); This Air Cushion, or Sensory Seat Cushion, is an inflatable dynamic balloon. It can be used on the floor to strengthen lower body muscles and to train for balance as well. Alternatively get students to sit on the Air Cushion placed on their own seat to help with children that find it hard to sit still. A terrific aid to help children sit still and feel calm while they concentrate on the task at hand. One side of the cushion is bump-studded while the other side is more gently textured to provide users with different sensations to enhance the sense of touch and coordination. Measures 35cm diameter. Maximum load 100 kg.
Seat Wedge (BRU010); This seat wedge is an inflatable shaped cushion to sit on, or it can also be used upright in any chair as a back support or on the floor. It works by encouraging the spines natural S-curve, which is often flattened out when seated on normal chairs, or with habitual poor posture. Children adults can also sit on the wedge to help the spine maintain its correct curve, and because the wedge is slightly inflated, it is therefore unstable, giving almost any chair many of the benefits of active or dynamic sitting. Measures 25.5(W) x 26(L) x 0.7-6(H)cm.
